Hanging Your Metal Art
WAYS TO HANG YOUR METAL ART
Following are basic ways to hang your metal art:
-
Nails or Screws - This is the most common hanging method. Most customers choose to use nails, screws, and even push pins in the mounting holes of the piece. (Some of our signs have holes built in for hanging - mounting holes) We recommend using screws or mounting magnets when hanging outside for a more secure mount (some customers choose to drill holes in their pieces to help with this).
-
Magnetic Mounting Hardware - High-powered screw-in magnets screw into the wall and are extremely durable indoors or outdoors, where your piece may have a tendency to get knocked off a nail or tack. Just screw the magnet in and attach the back of your metal sign to the magnet for a secure long-lasting hold. Get yours by clicking the link above.
-
Monkey Hooks (J-hooks) - Monkey Hooks are a lightweight and strong steel wire that enables you to hang your piece of up to 50 lbs securely to sheetrock walls. It takes seconds to install and requires no tools!
- Double-Sided Mounting Tape - As a last resort, double-sided mounting tape is quick and easy. However, we recommend this option as a last resort to the above options because the tape could permanently bond your piece to any rough or smooth surface and be difficult to remove.
